Dr. Perry completed her PhD in Biological Sciences in Dental Medicine at Harvard University alongside her DMD. Dr. Perry studied cell biology and metabolism- specifically the role of mitochondria in health and disease. She has authored over 20 scientific publications and continues to speak at conferences and review scientific papers.
